Dr. Kathlyn Thompson and Dr. Lauren Howard are sisters and natives of Hardin county. They grew up in Rineyville, a rural suburb of Elizabethtown, and have appreciated seeing this county grow into what it has become today. Dr. Lauren Howard DMD earned her degree as a PA-C from the University of Kentucky in 2005, and began working in medicine until 2006. She then graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2010. She is currently married with four children. Dr. Thompson, DMD Graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2009 and is now married with 3 children. Dr. Thompson and Dr. Howard both came back home to open their practice together in 2010, opening on Dixie Highway and recently moving locations just down the road in 2021 to Veterans way and Robinbrooke boulevard. A larger facility with easier patient access and better technology. Some may question how siblings could work together every day, but it has been the biggest surprise blessing and it works very well for our patients! Both families love traveling and vacationing together. Elizabethtown family dentistry is truly a family atmosphere, which keeps true family dentistry the core goal of the practice.
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. Please arrive on time to all appointments. If you must reschedule, we request a 24 hours notice. This is an important courtesy to other patients and our staff. Failure to comply with recommended treatment schedules may prevent us from achieving your healthcare goals. Missing two or more appointments without notifying us 24 hours in advance may result in a $50.00 fee or dismissal from our practice. Please note, if you dismiss yourself voluntarily at any point, we will no longer render care, effective at dismissal time. If we dismiss a patient from our practice, we always offer emergency care for 30 days following notification so to allow time for the person to find another dental provider.
